First time of spending life in the US as a wife, of course, I need to cook for both of us. But I never made American foods before, or even Thai foods I ever made it just a few menus. The truth is in the past I ate only the meals that cook by someone else whether delicious or not.

So, in the beginning I tried to make simple Thai food such as vegetable stir-fried, but no vegetable in the fridge. Seem like my husband would not eat vegetables. We went to Walmart and got some. I wanted to make Thai curries and soups but no Thai fresh spice such as hot pepper, lemongrass, ginger, basil leaves, kaffir lime leaves, matured tamarind (When it time to cook I miss Thailand, my homeland so much ) : So, I turned to search for American food recipes and got a lot. I made it and the taste is pretty good but for me don't want to eat cheese and butter every day. Finally, I have a try to make Thai foods by applied ingredients I have. Many times I adapted recipe until they look good and tasty. Of course, they are not Thai original recipes sometime I'd like to call it Thai-American Foods. LOL!!!
